Weddings!
We seem to be doing a lot so here's what you can expect:

WEDDING - PIPER
Piper arrives at the venue 45minutes before the ceremony commences to discuss proceedings with the chaplain / pastor or wedding coordinator and to familiarize themselves with the venue for the event:
Please note that below are merely times where the piper CAN play during the service and each time you have the option to use the piper or not to.
Please note, with regards to Hymns we always suggest using an organist / Piano as the piper’s repertoire in this regards is strictly limited to Amazing Grace.

15 Minutes before Service Commences: The piper will play while guests mingle and move into wedding venue; playing general popular Scottish tunes (Scotland the Brave, Flower of Scotland, etc)

Bride Arrives at the Venue: Piper Stops playing to indicate to everyone that the bride has arrived.

Playing Bride down the Aisle: Highland Cathedral / Highland Wedding / Maries Wedding (Popular Scottish Tunes for the Occasion, please note we do not play the Wedding March and suggest using an organist for this if you wish to have that played as you go down the aisle)

Signing of the Register: Amazing Grace, Flower of Scotland, Skye Boat Song (General Tunes for 2-3mintutes while you sign the register, etc)

Playing the Bride and Groom out of the Service: The piper will play a little more lively, Mason’s Apron, etc.

10 Minutes after the Service has completed and during the Congratulations: General popular Scottish tunes (Scotland the Brave, Flower of Scotland, Scottish Soldier, etc).

There are options to have a mini band or fill band at your wedding for additional entertainment for your guests, please contact us via the form on the "Contact Us" page.

It looks like another very busy year ahead for 2010.

Note that these dates are subject to change - dont blame the editor if you miss a performance!
